vmware migration
От вчера се наблюдава „забавяне“ когато се отваря блога, причината е че местя доста гигабайти на този сървър като идеята е да мигрирам алфата на vmware esxi. Причините са разбираеми, вече една година другия сървър работи повече от стабилно на тази операционна система и позволява дистанционно да правя каквото искам по сървърите без да се налага да ходя при тях с монитора 🙂 Забавянето главно е заради dl.joni-b.net където има доста софтуер. Всичко друго работи нормално за сега , ще пиша като имам повече инфо.

opencart nginx rewrite rules problem
To get working seo urls in opencart powered by nginx you need to put some special rules in your website conf in nginx directory.
First , we need go put this files in our conf:
location / {
try_files $uri @opencart;
}
location @opencart {
rewrite ^/(.+)$ /index.php?_route_=$1 last;
}
Now we have working seo urls 🙂
Ok, but I found problem, with this settings my /admin directory now is not working and the web server says : Not found 404
To fix this we need to put :
location /admin index index.php; }
before up rule and the config will looks like this:
location /admin {
index index.php;
}
location / {
try_files $uri @opencart;
}
location @opencart {
rewrite ^/(.+)$ /index.php?_route_=$1 last;
}

clipbucket seo url cyrillic loop problem
I’m Bulgarian, and I use clipbucket for my video sharing website. I found one strange problem with SEO urls when the video title is in cyrillic , there is loop when I open the link and nothing works. With english urls all is ok.
Today I found the solution for this problem.
First you must install this plugin in your clipbucket website and activate it.
Than go to root directory of your clipbucket site and open watch_video.php , find the code :
$server_link = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
and replace it with code :
$server_link = urldecode($_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']);
Then go to admin panel and activate SEO links.
For my website now everything works perfect! 🙂
